X is for Xana #AtoZChallenge

I know. More damned scenery.

Origin: Spain

Description:  Nature spirits a/k/a nymphs.  Pretty young ladies will flowing hair.  Yadda, yadda, yadda.  Aren’t these pretty faeries always the same?

They live in caves and come down during the day a frolic in meadows. Sometimes they “borrow” your horse.  Those pesky Xana!

Disposition:  Insipid.

Sorry. This one is so boring I could cry.  Damn you, Letter X!!!!!!

  1. Not boring. We need to know about any pests that may be lurking, trying to steal our horses. :D

  2. I'm not sure, but I think I might be a Xana and not know it. I love to frolic in meadows, my house has been described as a cave, my hair could be flowing if I let it grow, and I've definitely been known to "borrow" "horses."

    1. LOL! Maybe you should wear a warning lable. "This woman may or may not but a Xana. Guard your horses."

  4. Not boring at all. I wouldn't have guessed Spain for this ones origin. Don't be insipid about these characters, sounds like they are fun girls. :)

  5. I dunno, Dude; in some parts of the world horse-thievin's a serious offense! Maybe these chicks are the hoodlums of the fairy-verse! ;-)

But seriously - "X" is definitely a challenging letter!

    1. X was probably the most challenging. Z is a bitch of a snot, too!

  6. I wouldn't mind being a Xana - frolicking in meadows all day and riding around on 'borrowed' horses. Beats working!

    Great post for X!
